Dem Anordnungsprinzip der Bilder auf der Webseite folgend, wird die Zeichenfolge der Visitenkarteninschrift in eine Folge von vertikalen und horizontalen Rechtecken übersetzt, die an Stelle eines Logos treten.

Following the principles of image arrangement on the website, the order of signifiers in the business cards’ inscription is translated into vertical and horizontal rectangles that replace a logo.

The favorite color of stylist and production manager Alicia Freksa is exactly this radiant, deep blue. I suggested this color for her business cards without being aware of this.

Ein eigens für die Künstlerin entwickelte Version meiner Groteskschrift »Paelzer« weist allerlei Wucherungen auf. Die Form der Wucherungen folgt den Strichen der Schrift.

A custom version of my typeface »Paelzer« shows all kinds of offshoots. Their form follows that of the typeface’s stems.

Die Webseite beruht in der Vertikalen auf dem Prinzip des Baums. Die Krone des immer weiter wachsenden Baumes sind die aktuellen Arbeiten, die Wurzeln des Baumes – mit einem Klick auf das Wurzelsymbol rechts oben gelangt man nach unten – bestehen aus biografischen Angaben und Informationen. Die horizontale Anordnung der Arbeiten richtet sich nach ihrer Form auf einem Spektrum von kristallin bis organisch. Ein durch zwei Achslinien angedeutetes Koordinatensystem deutet auf diese Verteilungslogik.

Vertically, the website is based on the principle of a tree. The crown of this ever-growing tree consists of the current works, while the roots – which you can access by clicking the root icon in the upper right corner – consist of biographical details and information. The horizontal arrangement of the works is based on their form, ranging from crystalline to organic. A coordinate system indicated by two axes illustrates this organizational logic.
