MC1R is a magazine for people with a genetic condition causing red hair. It aims to look at a bodily condition and its cultural, social, historical and political stories with a broad interest and a bold attitude. It collects stories and works by redhaired people from all over the world and has gained a significant following. I have been designing the magazine in close collaboration with editor-in-chief and founder Tristan Rodgers since the first issue. We are currently working on a complete overhaul of the magazine.
