Sud – Photographic notes from South America
180 x 240 mm
Efalin card and ultra thin Fly paper
for Charlotte Schreiber
Photographer Charlotte Schreiber travelled parts of South America and took photographic notes. These notes were edited in a purely subjective, formal way, just like one would remember scenes from a trip. In the end of the book there is a chronological index though, giving the explorative reader a chance to go through her photographic notes in a different manner. It is accompanied by an empty, nondescript and artifactual map of the territory she travelled, connecting Sud to the other nondescript, ghostly map in Looking Up To The Sun Through Tears.
The book was quietly launched on April 11 2019 at whitespace Hamburg.
